Dr. Steacy graduated from Queen’s University with a B.Sc. degree and a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education in 2000. He then earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 2003. Dr. Steacy is a licensed chiropractor with physical therapy privileges in the state of Maryland. He has also completed the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners parts I, II, III, IV and Physiotherapy.
Dr. Steacy is certified in advanced techniques including Active Release Technique (ART®), Dry Needling and Graston Technique which allow the clinician to focus specifically on the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue injuries. Dr. Steacy is a Certified Kinesiotaping® Practitioner (CKTP) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In October of 2012 Dr. Steacy was certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS).
Dr. Steacy was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and now resides in Columbia, MD with his wife and 2 children. He enjoys playing hockey, golf and fly-fishing in his spare time.
