Dr. Phillips graduated from Virginia Tech in 2008 where she received her Bachelors in Human Nutrition Foods and Exercise. After graduating from Virginia Tech, she attended National University of Health Sciences (NUHS). She completed her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2011. Dr. Phillips is a licensed chiropractor with physical therapy privileges in Virginia and Maryland.
While attending NUHS, Dr. Phillips completed her clinical internship in Lombard, Illinois. She saw patients at the Lombard Whole Health Center, Salvation Army and a Mixed Martial Arts gym. During her internship, Dr. Phillips was able to attend the Susan G. Komen 3-Day event in Chicago as part of the medical team for the entire event. There she treated many participants and was able to give back to the local community. She also attended local Relay for Life events as part of the medical staff. Dr. Phillips was able to take additional courses to further her education in Active Release Technique, Kinesiotape, Advanced Orthopedics, Gait Analysis and Imbalances, Motion Palpation, Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Functional Rehabilitation. She is certified in Kinesiotape and lower extremity Active Release Technique. Dr. Phillips is currently working on getting her Dry Needling certification to provide more diverse treatment options to her patients.
Dr. Phillips was raised in Blacksburg, Virginia and currently lives in Arlington, Virginia. In her spare time she likes to run, travel and watch Virginia Tech football! She is excited to be in the Rockville Clinic full time!
