Dr. Matthew Clay, D.C. graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2011. He has been working for Sport and Spine Rehab since May, 2011. While in school he took additional courses in advanced Chiropractic technique, Graston™ technique, and Sacral occipital technique. He was also an active member of the Motion Palpation Club. He specializes and is certified in total body Active Release Technique (ART) as well Graston™. He attended both the Tom Hyde FAKTR and Craig Liebenson seminars in 2012. His professional interests include rehabilitative exercise prescription and athletic injury diagnosis.
Dr. Clay is an avid athlete and sports fan. He played collegiate soccer at Radford University while earning his Bachelor ’s Degree in Sports Medicine. Dr. Clay is from Sterling, VA and played both soccer and golf at Potomac Falls High School. He is a fan of all of the Washington area sports teams, especially the Washington Redskins, and the Washington Capitols. You may see Dr. Clay rocking the red from time to time.
Dr. Clay currently resides in Sterling, VA with his dog, Wilson.
